Carol Bretzloff has worked with mixed media since graduating in 1973. Using broken limestone plates and with technical assistance from master printer Otis Tamasauskas, she created a series of large multicolored lithographs incorporating collages of organic materials. She has exhibited locally, across Canada, and internationally. Her work has been acquired by the Art Bank of the Canada Council for the Arts, the City of Ottawa, the Ottawa Art Gallery, the Department of Foreign Affairs, as well as various public, corporate, and private collections. Carol Bretzloff lives in Clarendon and is one of the founding members of the Pontiac Artists’ Studio Tour.
