Public consultation meeting on the draft by-law respecting the occupancy and maintenance of buildings in the Unorganized territory of Lac-Nilgaut
During this consultation, the draft by-law will be explained, along with the consequences of its adoption. Individuals and organizations wishing to express their views will be heard. The purpose of this by-law is to regulate the occupancy and maintenance of buildings in order to ensure the protection of the built
heritage.
At a meeting held on May 13, 2026, the Council of the Pontiac Regional County Municipality adopted the following draft by-law applicable throughout the territory: DRAFT BY LAW 310-2026 – BY‑LAW RESPECTING THE OCCUPANCY AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS WITHIN THE UNORGANIZED TERRITORY OF LAC‑NILGAUT
The draft bylaw will be presented at a public consultation meeting to be held on August 12 , 2026 at 7:00 pm at the MRC Pontiac’s Elsie Gibbons Room located at au 602, Route 301 Nord, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.
A copy of the draft by-law may be consulted at the reception desk of the offices of the Pontiac RCM
