Public consultation meeting on the draft by-law respecting the demolition of buildings in the Unorganized territory of Lac-Nilgaut.
During this consultation, the draft by-law will be explained, along with the consequences of its adoption. Individuals and organizations wishing to express their views will be heard. The purpose of this by-law is to regulate the demolition of buildings to ensure the protection of built heritage.
At a meeting held on May 13, 2026, the Council of the Pontiac Regional County Municipality adopted the following draft by-law applicable throughout the territory: DRAFT BY-LAW 311-2026 RESPECTING THE DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS IN THE UNORGANIZED TERRITORY OF LAC-NILGAUT
The draft bylaw will be presented at a public consultation meeting to be held on August 12 , 2026 at 6:00 pm at the MRC Pontiac’s Elsie Gibbons Room located at 602, Route 301 Nord, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.
A copy of the draft by-law may be consulted at the reception desk of the offices of the Pontiac RCM
