Notice of Temporary Water Level Increase – Bryson Dam [HYDRO-QUÉBEC]

Hydro-Québec would like to inform the public that a gradual increase in the water level upstream of the Bryson dam is planned starting Friday, November 21. The water level is expected to rise between 30 and 50 cm above its current level during the week of November 24. These variations will be more noticeable in the Bryson area and could be felt as far as Coulonge Lake.

The anticipated rise in water levels may last a few weeks before dropping by about twenty centimeters in mid-December. The level upstream of the generating station will remain within normal operating ranges at all times, but shoreline residents may observe more significant fluctuations in the coming weeks.

This temporary increase will allow technical teams to carry out tests related to recently completed work at the generating station.
