This decision, taken in collaboration with the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de protection des for\u00eats contre le feu (SOPFEU), therefore results in a ban that takes effect starting on<strong>&nbsp;May 28, at 7 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To view the map of the affected territory, go to:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sopfeu.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IFCO20200416_8H_v2.jpg\">sopfeu.qc.ca\/en<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>There are currently 10 fires in activity in Qu\u00e9bec. Since the start of the protection season, 173 forest fires have affected 246 hectares. The average for the last 10 years at this time of the year is 183 fires for an area of 182 hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone must collaborate to make sure that the ban on open fires in the forest is respected. This measure is intended to limit the risk of forest fires.
