This new responsibility increases the MRC\u2019s autonomy in regional development, and provides citizens with a single-point of service.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-77731022 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"77731022\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In addition, 50% of revenues from public lands leases comes back to the MRC. Aside from the organization that enforces&nbsp;them, the operating rules for the occupation of public lands remain unchanged.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-810f653 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"810f653\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4728fc60 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"4728fc60\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-431046bb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"431046bb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In terms of land management, the powers and responsibilities delegated to the MRC include the following:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e5d9cca elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5e5d9cca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Managing existing vacation leases;<\/li><li>Lot availability;<\/li><li>Camping management;<\/li><li>Control over land use\u00a0by inspecting granted rights, monitoring the territory\u00a0and tracking squatters.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d20215 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5d20215\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This delegation of powers\u00a0<em><strong>does not<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0include the management of trapping territories\u00a0and\u00a0permits. This process allows individuals to occupy a public plot for recreational purposes under certain conditions. There are two main options: participate in the periodically organized lottery or acquire an existing lease.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-42f25b9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"42f25b9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The first way to obtain a vacation lot is to participate in the lottery organized each year by the MRNF, in collaboration with the delegated MRCs and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des \u00e9tablissements de plein air du Qu\u00e9bec (S\u00c9PAQ). This lottery aims to allocate lots located on government lands.<\/p><p>Although the MRNF and the S\u00c9PAQ will hold a lottery in the fall of 2025, there are no properties available in the MRC Pontiac for this edition. The next lottery is scheduled for the fall of 2026. To do so, you must submit a request to transfer the right to occupy the land. Restrictions may, however, apply depending on the nature of the lease. Since the MRC Pontiac is a delegated MRC, your request must be submitted to us directly.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-15921e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"15921e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"41\" data-end=\"145\">Before proceeding with the acquisition of a lease, make sure you fully understand the following terms:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"229\">Any outstanding rent must be paid in full before the lease can be transferred.<\/li><li data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"229\">A transfer may be refused if the file is not in compliance; the situation must then be rectified before moving forward.<\/li><li data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"229\">The unused portion of the annual rent is non-refundable. The outgoing tenant and the new tenant must agree on compensation for the months already paid.<\/li><li data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"229\">Both parties are responsible for the transaction concerning buildings and improvements on the leased land. Proof of sale is not required, except in specific cases.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bffade1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bffade1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"41\" data-end=\"82\">To acquire an existing lease, you must:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"86\" data-end=\"190\">Complete the request form for the transfer of a right to occupy land and submit it to the MRC Pontiac.<\/li><li data-start=\"86\" data-end=\"190\">Pay the non-refundable administrative fee of $456.45 (including GST and QST), required upon issuance of the new lease after the offer has been accepted.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
