The MRC Pontiac focuses on the mobility of all citizens in the area
Campbell’s Bay, July 17th 2017 – In collaboration with the association of leisure activities for handicaps & intellectuals people of the Pontiac (ALPHIP), the MRC of Pontiac organizes from July 18th until August 16th, 2017, in the Fort Coulonge arena, activities for the people with reduced mobility and/or other handicaps. The activities turn around diverse sports as hockey-ball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, walking and the outdoor, sledge hockey (demonstration in winter 2018) and other sports. This programming joins in an objective of development of the sport and the regular practice of physical activity.
Based on the « Together, let’s build a more inclusive society » theme, the MRC Pontiac aims to encourage the people of the Pontiac to take solid action so as to reduce the obstacles for social participation. Considering this, we want to thank ALPHIP for their collaboration and involvement in this project.
