Smoke Alarms Save Lives! – Fire Safety – October 30, 2020

SMOKE ALARMS SAVE LIVESThis year, the time change will be during the weekend of November 1st. During this weekend the ministry of public security and all fire service representatives would like to remind you to change the batteries in your smoke alarms. Remember that smoke alarms have a 10 year life time. If you are not sure how old your smoke alarms are, replace them today. For more details on how to choose, install and maintain smoke alarms, refer to the regional bylaw 202-2014 and to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
