PUBLIC NOTICE is given by the undersigned, Mr. Gabriel Lance, General Manager and Secretary-Treasurer, that a public consultation meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 7PM, at the MRC Pontiac office (Elsie Gibbons Chamber), located at 602, Route 301 North, Litchfield, in regards to draft By-Law no. 227-2016 amending the Land Use and Development Plan regarding the Destructured Tracts and New Residences to Be Built on Areas of Ten Hectares or More, in accordance with Article 53 of an Act respecting Land Use Planning and Development.
Draft By-Law no. 227-2016 aims at allowing the implementation of new residences in the permanent agricultural zone under the conditions set forth by the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec (CPTAQ) in its decision no. 377560 issued on June 17, 2015. Furthermore, it aims at modifying the wordings of the land uses associated with the permanent agricultural zone in order to match the wordings with those used by the CPTAQ and the Agricultural Zone Development Plan (PDZA). Besides, the document specifying the nature of the amendments that the municipalities shall adopt following the amendment of the Land Use and Development Plan indicates the different documents that the affected municipalities shall amend, including mostly the planning program, and the zoning, subdivision and building by-laws.
