Pierre Duchesne, the MRC’s Land user Planner, announced to the Pontiac Council of Elected Officials last week that he will be leaving the MRC on March 11 after 16 years of service. Pierre’s main responsibilities were the implementation and update of the MRC Pontiac’s Land Use Development Plan, but he also worked on several regional files, such as the agricultural land characterization and the Agricultural Zone Development Plan (PDZA). He was also a vital resource for municipalities in the implementation of their urban planning regulations.
Pierre will soon leave the Pontiac for La Petite Nation, where he will hold a similar position at the MRC Papineau. We wish him every success in his new endeavours.
