Campbell’s Bay, May 16, 2016 – The MRC Pontiac and Réseau BIBLIO Outaouais are launching a contest to celebrate the Pontiac. From May 24 to June 30, MRC Pontiac residents will be able to complete a contest entry form in any of the Pontiac’s municipal libraries or at the MRC’s reception desk in Campbell’s Bay. Completed ballots will give participants a chance to win a prize!
Participants must submit a list of 20 Pontiac cultural treasures. A cultural treasure may be a heritage home, a public work of art, a song, or a dance, a landscape element, a culinary specialty, a character – real or imaginary – etc.
The draw will take place on July 5 at the MRC Pontiac offices. The winner will receive a prize consisting of books, a family pass to Chutes Coulonge, and a work of art, for an estimated prize value of $ 100.
The MRC Pontiac and the Réseau BIBLIO Outaouais have partnered in this contest to identify the things of which Pontiac can be proud. The resulting collection of 20 Pontiac cultural treasures will be posted on the Culture Days’ website, and promotion will continue throughout the year using various communications tools. # 20Trésors
