Call for Projects

Deadline: February 15th, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.

The Call for Projects of the 4th Edition (2010-2011) of the MRC Pontiac’s Rural Pact has officially been launched.

Registered non-profit organizations, non-financial cooperatives and municipalities are acceptable promoters and we welcome your project submissions.

Regional development projects involving several municipalities and priorities (tourism, social & community, culture, agriculture (transformation), forestry (transformation) and the environment) will be highly prioritized by the Rural Committee and the MRC Council of Mayors.

Projects must demonstrate that they correspond to the priorities of the Rural Pact, which are based on the results of the MRC/CLD/SADC's Vision Pontiac 2020 strategic planning.

Deadline for project submission is 4:00pm, Monday February 15th, 2010.  In order for a project to be complete, the promoter must meet with a member of the Rural Team before that time to review the file, application and related documents.  Tuesday afternoons, starting January 12th, have been set aside for this purpose. Please contact
Amy Taylor at 819-648-5689 ext. 130
