Sports & Leisure Programs
Pontiac in Motion
Pontiac in Motion is a organization where all citizens in the Pontiac are in control of their own activities.
We improve the sports and leisure organization and services offered while maintaining quality, diversity, availability and distribution within the territory. We also set up means that will favour healthy living habits and have physical sports (in/outdoor) activities available to individuals and families of all walks of life. Another mandate of Pontiac in Motion includes utilizing all existing infrastructures in the Pontiac (arenas, ball diamonds, PPJ Cycloparc)
Patro de Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield
Patro’s goals in the Pontiac region
Patro has become indispensable to the community because the population benefits from its activities and facilities on a daily basis. Over the years, the population has developed a sense of belonging to and pride in Patro. We reach young and old alike through our diverse educational activities.
The mission and approach of our community leisure centre
Patro is focused on the development and personal growth of Pontiac youth between five and 17 years of age through its sports, cultural, extracurricular, social, arts and crafts activities. We offer the leisure and sport infrastructure that enables them to devote themselves to the activities of their choice in a very pleasant atmosphere and under the constant supervision of our chaperones.
In short, Patro enables youth and families to blossom by participating in activities they enjoy, activities through which they can develop skills and self-esteem. We want to offer an environment that is rich in human contact where their discoveries, successes and achievements can give them more satisfaction and improve their quality of life.
